First time at this restaurant as was recommended by a friend. Must say the food was beautiful, plenty of flavour. We ordered the chicken kebabs! (see photo) The service was ok, only thing I would say was we were not asked if everything was ok throughout our meal, or even at the end of our meal nothing was asked. Apart from that though I could not fault the place.
Had a lovely meal here tonight for my wife's birthday. This place is a hidden gem in the Darlington area. Friendly atmosphere and highly recommended. We will definitely be returning in the very near future. I would highly recommend the mixed kebab which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Chicken supreme which was delicious. The staff and the owner were very friendly. This place had lovely decor and the Turkish lamps look amazing. I don’t normally leave a 5* review, but this business highly deserves it.- Many thanks for a memorable evening.

First time at this lovely small restaurant. The food was excellent, and the lady who was serving was very friendly and polite. Hummus and bread were tasty, and Imam bayaldi was amazing. Definitely would be going again.
Conveniently located for a pre theatre performance meal. Good selection of bottled beer and soft drinks. Limited menu but plenty on there to try. We opted for the Moussaka and Iskender House Speciality Kebab with a side order of chips and complimentary Turkish bread. Fast, friendly service and very reasonably priced. 5*
Great food with great atmosphere! Quite different than usual Turkish restaurants that do just kebab. They serve real turkish cuisine and it is very delicious. We ordered mititi for our daughter and it was super delicious as well.
Had an amazing birthday dinner here! Gem was fantastically knowledgable about vegan food and fed me and my family a delicious vegan meze and mains. We drove 45 minutes to visit and will definitely be back
Lovely food and friendly staff. Portions are a nice size. Just a lovely feel to the place. We will definitely return if in the area again. Chicken kebab was the best I’ve had !
